Rich in History - A Galena IL MUST
Galena, IL is said to be known for its history, historical architecture and ski and golf resorts. That’s what I heard. So, I took it upon myself to put Galena in my travel destinations list alongside the many other states that have struck my interest.
It was just last month when my dream to visit this city started to take its course. Over brunch with my old college friends, we discussed how it would be a thrill to get together in another city for old times sake. So I said we ought to check out Galena since I’ve heard so much about it and they agreed. Since Galena is just a drive away from us, Chicagoans we thought that it was the easiest way we could get off our work schedules without taking up so much time.
So we made the last weekend of May free and looked up Galena bed and breakfast hotels over the Internet where we came across Ryan’s Mansion. The old-fashioned appeal that the place gave us seemed to be just fitting for our first trip as a group in such a historically rich place.
The staff didn’t disappoint us with their outstanding services and I would highly recommend Ryan’s Mansion if you’re looking for the best in Galena IL bed and breakfast inns!
