My Father Is Selling Gold Online
My father who used to be a jewelry salesman is starting to sell gold online. When he was a salesman, he got to either keep the samples, or sell them to his customers for whatever he wanted to. He chose to take about fifty percent and store them safely while selling gold samples to friends and family for a big discount.
I remember every time he had to choose which piece to keep and which to sell; he had a hard time making decisions. He sometimes would ask my opinion but a five year old does not know too much about jewelry so I always just chose the prettiest one to pack away. Then every month, he would allow my aunts and uncles to look through the ones he had kept. Selling gold samples to them was the money my father would put away for our family vacations and stuff.
When he told me that he was going to sell gold online, I was very happy. I asked him if he thought I could look through some of the boxes before he put them on the internet, just in case there was something that I wanted. Of course he let me, but I felt too guilty to take anything, so it is all available online to buy now.
